Keith Abercrombie AwardThe final award from this fund was given to Charles Howie, who is studying for an MSc in Sustainable Agriculture at the RAC, Cirencester. His project is to study salt tolerance in rice plants in the Far East and was deemed particularly appropriate in view of Keith's long interest in rice, the subject of a book he was writing when he died.
