Other NewsThe Trust, the ORCC and the Diocese of Oxford are jointly planning a meeting to think through the transfer of many of the powers of the Rural Development Commission to the new Regional Development Agencies and various other aspects of the governments approach to rural areas in England. The meeting will take place during April 1998.Lady Higgs continues her work with the Rural Community Council, local government and diocesan affairs and has recently become a Trustee of the Rural Stress Information Network. We are delighted to congratulate Elspeth and Robert Grant on the arrival of their first baby, Ellen Jane, last October.
